ANAWANGIN COVE

See the wonders of Anawangin Cove

I never thought that my summer this 2016 will be this exciting. Unlike the other years, I would spend the whole summer sleeping-eating-then-sleeping again for the whole season. My mom surprise me that we will go to a beach not too far from the rural area. I was really exited and even bought a bikini for that special trip. However, I was not really comfortable to show off some skin.

The trip to Pundaquit is tiring and thrilling since we don't know it's exact location. We're kinda challenge with the thought that we really need to go there. Thanks to the google map! (we're not lost, just delayed because of the few stops) We finally make it to our destination after the five hour ride from Quezon City. It's already almost noon when we got to the pundaquit, so it's really hot at that time (take note it's summer so don't forget to bring a sunblock). We found a very helpful owner of boats and they let us rent their parking lot for Php200.00 (over night) and the boat for Php1,000.00. I was really happy at that time. I even take a lot of selfies even before boarding on the boat.

The ride to Anawangin Cove is fun, I even make friends with the gals on the other boat who wave at me. The view from the fifteen minutes boating from the town proper to the island is full of bliss. It's a God's creation that no one can compare of.
Here are some of the pictures I take while riding the boat.

After the boating ride I was very overwhelmed with how simple the people live in here. I got to experience something as awesome as this, Instead of coconut trees, pine trees where planted here.

These Pine trees are called Agoho Pine trees, they also produce small pine cones compare to the original one. Under the shade of these trees is where we build a little camp site and sleep overnight.

At the end of the day, its nice to have a silent walk with yourself and just digest the beautiful view and its sunset,

However, you cannot miss trying there henna (fake) tattoo, it's something to be remembered and to be treasured. I simply choose the design of a dreamcatcher. A dreamcatcher for me has a deeper meaning, it just not take the nightmares away from us. It something that guard us through our sleep.

It's not fun having a tattoo if you're not gonna show it off right?
So on the very next day after we finished trekking the small mountain near us. I take a dip for the last time on the anawangin beach.
Of course don't forget to buy 'pasalubong' for you friends and other relatives!!!
